Welcome to the long awaited, by us at least, website for the jewelry of Wayne and Judy Acton. We are in the very preliminary stages of development so expect things to change as time goes by.
At left is a favorite picture of us in our back garden at foxglove bloom time. We are a bit older now and perhaps not so photogenic. Speaking of photographs, we hope to have a lot of them posted here. So far we are making them ourselves and we have a lot to learn, so a bit of tolerance will be needed in their appreciation.
Our hope for the website is that it will help people to contact and stay in touch with us. Judging by the requests we receive there is a need for this. Because our pieces are basically one of a kind and because we sell nearly every weekend, direct sales from the website are not feasible. There is (will be) information on ordering deeper in the site.
The website style will evolve and like our sales style and our art, it is bound to be very informal and homely. At present I (Wayne) am doing the pics and text and son James is doing all the html tech so instances arise where one hand doesn't know etc. Hopefully the result will still be entertaining as well as informative.
